Welcome to the Citizen Portal

You can use the Citizen Portal to:

1. Check if you’re eligible for 15 hours funded childcare for your two year old if you receive additional government support. However, if you’re looking to apply for the new 2 year old funding for working families entitlement from April 2024, applications are made through Childcare Choices (www.childcarechoices.gov.uk).

2. Apply for your child's admission to Reception Class (application only available from 2 September 2024 up to 15 January 2025); and

3. Apply for your child's transition from primary to high school (application only available from 2 September 2024 up to 31 October 2024).

The same registration works for all activities in the Citizen Portal so, if you have previously applied for a school place or two year old funding, you can log in using the same email and password. If you cannot remember your password click on the forgotten password link.
